New Sun Road’s Energy Compact, “Scaling Digital Community Centers for National Impact in Guatemala” focuses on addressing the issue of energy access, internet connectivity and bridging digital and entrepreneurial skills gaps.

The 9th annual Microgrid Knowledge Conference was held in Baltimore, Maryland. This three-day event with 466 attendees from 8 countries had 17 sessions
focused on key elements of microgrid technologies, including distributed energy resources, regulation, and financing. Throughout the conference there was an emphasis on addressing the sustainability and resilience objectives of energy users.

During a DistribuTECH panel discussion a few months ago, Briggs & Stratton Energy Solutions and New Sun Road delved into the intricacies of microgrids and fractal grids.

As the microgrid industry continues to rapidly expand, New Sun Road and the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) have established a workforce development partnership to open doors for folks pursuing careers in the field and improve the industry’s racial and gender equity.
