The team at New Sun Road is thrilled to have Araya on board. Araya is in her senior year at Western Governor’s University studying to receive her marketing degree in November 2022. To New Sun Road, she brings her expertise in graphic design, knowledge of social media outreach and optimistic enthusiasm. Araya says she took this internship because she believes in the New Sun Road’s mission of providing renewable energy and internet access to communities that may not have access through the power of microgrids.

Araya said, “Helping less fortunate communities has always been a mission of mine. When I started college back in 2018 I decided to get my AA in humanities and during this time I got to study different cultures, religions and regions. I quickly learned that being from the United States was deemed as a luxury around the world. After receiving my AA I decided to pursue my marketing degree.”
Araya believes that marketers have the power to shape the way things are viewed in this world. With New Sun Road she can combine her two passions and be a part of something that is more than a company. Araya was looking for a real mission to inflict change on this world, and New Sun Road fits the bill. She is glad to say that she feels like she made the right choice. Araya has jumped in with both feet at New Sun Road and we say, “Welcome to the team Araya!”
