Road trip RE+ Northeast!

After landing in New Jersey, I headed for a borough in the Big Apple, and I stopped to visit Pvilion in Brooklyn. Cassidy, Julia, Ray, Udoka, and Charlemagne are fantastic hosts in a lovely post-industrial loft. Pvilion builds flexible PV for permanent and semi-permanent solar solutions.

Stellar Edge™ controls their high voltage off-grid systems in 2 soon to be 4 countries. We worked in close collaboration to commission the first system and now Pvilion brings the projects online in less than two days.

Next stop, Greenwich, Connecticut to see a long-time supporter, investor, and friend of New Sun Road, Andy Karetsky of Skyview Ventures. The conversation ranged from the continued traction of New Sun Road’s energy management system to the benefits of EV charging with battery storage. And there was a grateful exchange of swag.

And finally Boston for RE+ Northeast. These smaller shows enable real conversations and a chance to really see what is happening.

We caught up with some long-time partners like Brooke Plantz of Briggs & Stratton. And we met August (Danqing) Yang of Pytes, with whom we are integrating to provide some new energy storage options. Spencer Egan of RLC came down from the north. We are working together on a microgrid to power an island off the coast of Maine.

Road trips might be about places and as a born and raised New Englander transplanted to California, it was nice to feel the sting of the cold and crunch of the snow. But it is about the people committed to renewable energy with integrity to deliver a project and the relationships that make it happen.
