New Sun Road is proud to share our 2022 highlights. We are growing and continue to advance clean energy access.
- Our Stellar platform is PG&E’s technology of choice to remotely operate their standalone power systems (SPS). As part of their wildfire mitigation program, Stellar will help ensure that rural communities have reliable, clean power.
- MujerProspera (USAID) and Microsoft are supporting ten more digital community centers (DCCs) in the highlands of Guatemala. These centers are women-led and community-centric using a sustainable business model to close the digital gap. Over 3000 women and girls have received computer training.
- Our story is out with a video about New Sun Road and others about our individual team members.
- We keep making progress. Stellar now monitors over 800 microgrids in 22 countries.
In addition, we announced the promotion of Adrienne Pierce, a solar industry veteran, to Chief Executive Officer. Jalel Sager continues as Board Chair and Strategic Advisor.
